The end of another great year is upon us, and we’re ready to reminisce and refuel for the future. Decade-long anniversaries, award wins, community events, product launches, and an epic retreat filled our 2025 with a lot to celebrate.

Anniversaries All Around Us
It was a big year for work anniversaries at APAX. We celebrated a couple decades, a sweet sixteen, and more. Highlights included:
- Taylor Akin: 6 Years
- Amanda Murray: 9 Years
- Wei-Keat Kong, PhD: 10 Years
- Chris Allen: 10 Years
- Nick Such: 16 Years
We’re incredibly lucky to work alongside these great people. Thank you to them—and to everyone else who hit milestones this year—for many years of hard work and friendship.

Back in May, our team was proud to announce a Web Excellence Awards win for work with a prominent non-profit client.
As the Web Excellence Awards site noted: “The launch… transforms the church’s digital experience, consolidating multiple sites into a single, dynamic platform… The redesigned site architecture also offers intuitive navigation, enabling worship leaders, mid-council leaders, and laypeople to find essential information effortlessly.”
Community Engagement Countdown
We love our community. This year, we gathered at:

Coffee, Code, and Takeout
A lot happens in a year. You often hear about the outward-facing events and activities, but there’s plenty behind the scenes that keeps the wheels turning at APAX. In 2025, just to name a few:
- 7,000 cups of coffee were consumed
- 400,000 lines of code were touched
- 1,200 takeout orders were placed
- 1,300 pull requests were merged
Winter Retreat
This year, the APAX and Awesome Inc teams retreated to Disney World together. With an emphasis on recharging and refocusing, we had an unforgettable time in a memorable place. Each year, Winter Retreat helps us build relationships and set the tone for the year ahead.
In January 2026, our team is looking forward to a Costa Rican getaway.
