As a 17-year-old company, much has changed with APAX since our start in 2007. From three friends in a college apartment to a team of 22 specialists, we’ve grown significantly. Yet we recognized the need for better internal operational systems to support continued growth.
Selecting a Framework
APAX has moved beyond startup-phase frameworks. We’re “well beyond that phase” and sought guidance for scaling sustainably. After recommendations from peers, we adopted the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) in late 2023. The full adoption journey takes 12-18 months; we’re nearly six months in.
Our Organizational Checkup assessment scored 63%, placing us in “above average” territory with room for improvement toward the desired 80%+ range. Vision and Process emerged as our weakest components.

Of 18 clients last year, 8 worked with us for 5+ years. Our team members average 5.6 years tenure — above tech industry standards. We emphasize collaborative development and quality through in-house, onshore teams rather than offshore alternatives for complex, mission-critical projects.
